New Members
Minerva Bath Rowing Club warmly welcomes adults of any age and juniors over the age of 13, offering the local community and surrounding area the chance to engage in the sport of rowing from a recreational level through to international. We accept new members all year round, whether you are a long time rower having moved to the area, making a return to the sport or hoping to try something new having never been near a boat before.
For those who haven’t been introduced to the sport before Minerva Bath offers learn to row courses throughout the year for rowing and sculling, both midweek and at weekends. This involves a 5 week starter course designed to give you the basic skills and confidence around a boat. Experienced Rowers
We are always looking for experienced rowers to join our team here at Minerva. If you are looking to join a welcoming but ambitious club, have rowed previously, whether that be currently or returning after a break, then please get in touch with the Rowing Captain in the first instance.

Have you considered coxing?
Minerva Bath Rowing Club is seeking to recruit new coxes to the club. At any point during the rowing year the success of the club’s crews and their ability to get out on the water to train relies entirely on that crew having a cox. As a cox you’re not only a member of the crew, some might argue that you are the most important member!
We are happy to train you up from a complete novice who has never been near a rowing boat before and we’d be delighted to welcome people along to the club who have previous coxing experience. As a friendly club with crews competing and training at different levels there will be plenty of opportunities for people keen to face a new challenge. Boat Racking
Minerva Bath also offers boat racking to members at a cost of £139.80 a year for a single, £209.75 for a double and £279.60 for a quad. Anyone wishing to store a boat at Minerva should complete the application form. If a rack is not currently available, names will be added to a waiting list. Any non-members wishing to rack a boat at Minerva must apply to join the club first.
