MBRC 2019 Awards

4th November, 2019

Once a year we spruce ourselves up and spend time celebrating some of the amazing achievements and people Minerva shares.

From crew of the year, to volunteer of the year, to our not so prestigious bent rigger award for that little moment of disaster (!)… these are recognitions voted on (from impressive shortlists) and presented by the members of Minerva Bath Rowing Club.

It’s also an opportunity to stow the lycra and get our posh togs on!

Congratulations to (in no particular order):

Crew of the Year

Our women’s masters quad – affectionately known as the Pocket Rockets – for consistent and continuing performances and wins this year!

Coach of the Year

Tim Birtwistle – for his work with the Junior Squad over the last three years

Volunteer of the Year

The Bent Rigger Award

Individual Performance
