New Boat Name

The new Hudson lightweight has been named Liburna meaning ” light fast warship invented by the Liburni – seafaring people sometimes pirates”.

Thanks again to classicist scholar Liz Kebby-Jones for verifying the meaning. The boat has been with us for a few weeks and been rowed about 12 times already so good to see it is getting plenty of use. If you wish to row it please contact Sunita and one of the rowing coaches. (Andy W/ Maggie/ Tim).
