Land Training Winter training consists of organised Circuits/Aerobics and Ergo training. (Venues to be announced, email for more details) Calculate those ergo splits with the downloadable Huggy ErgoCalc Ergo Training Ergo training is an integral part of a rowers weekly training schedule. To reach the levels of fitness to compete at the even the lowest levels you will need to use the ERGO. To some people it is a machine of fear, to others a joy. The main thing is to start at a level that suits you. Map out a training strategy and stick to it, don't over do it, and if you feel excessively tired take a rest. Take a look at the Ergo page for more details. Alternatively ask a more experienced rower to help. Water Training
