Women's squad
Minerva Bath currently has a small but perfectly formed women's squad, encompassing a range of ages and abilities. We compete in a number of regattas to suit every individual - whether it is social rowing or something a little more competitive. Last season our women's coxed four reached the final at the Metropolitan Regatta and we have also raced in the Fours, Eights and Pairs Head achieving some very respectable times.
We have notched up wins at Bristol City Head and a number of other local events. Our very enthusiastic women's squad is keen to capitalise on the success of last year, with more wins at a number of regattas this season in numerous boat classes.
We have a large number of coaches at the club with Level 2 certificates, one of whom is dedicated to the women's squad, encourgaing everyone to achieve their potential. We have regular training sessions as a squad, both on the land and the water, ensuring that members train together to gain a competitive edge but also making things very social.
